My Story

Happy Place Speech Services started in 2021 by Nazeem Hasan in Florida during the COVID 19 pandemic when the number of children and adults requiring speech and language therapy skyrocketed.  At that time, Nazeem realized the immediate need for more people to have access to speech and language therapy as well as other services to help with their communication including communication coaching, parent support groups and voice therapy. She also recognized the benefits of biking on our physical health, brain development and improved mental health. Due to the increase in depression and anxiety during the Pandemic, Nazeem began biking avidly and immediately noticed the difference in her memory, mood and even immune system during the Pandemic. She believes that by improving our overall physical health by exercising regularly we can also improve brain function, mental health and communication skills.
